Vita Audio's successor to the original R1 - the Mk II is further enhanced and even more desirable!

The new Vita Audio R1 allows you to set your radio as you like it! As you would expect from Vita Audio sound quality is exceptional, but now with the facility to adjust tone and a loudness option, you can set the sound to suit your own taste.
If you want to use it as a bedside radio, there's dual alarms which allows for once, daily, weekday and weekend settings. Both alarms (radio or buzzer) can be set to the volume required, depending on whether you're a light or heavy sleeper. Also included is an adjustable sleep timer and a snooze function.
Time, programme and set-up information are shown on a clear large format display, which automatically adjusts its brightness to suit the ambient light level. In addition the display can be set to turn off after a specified period if required.
On the rear panel an output for headphones is provided along with an audio output and a switchable auxiliary input. This allows an MP3 player or suchlike to be connected and enjoyed with R1's rich and detailed sound.
Vita Audio has also designed an optional rechargeable power pack which attaches and integrates onto the back panel of the new R1. Called ‘BackPack' this stylish device provides power for hours of wireless listening and the power supply that comes with R1 doubles as its charger making R1 always ready for picnics or ‘chilling out' in the bath.
Also adding to the new R1's appeal, there's a complimentary case produced from hand stitched leather to protect and aid portability. ‘CarryPack' brings an unabashed retro inspired feel to R1 and further enhances its design and tactility.
