This is the SR-2DAB from TEAC, and behind the black leatherette wrapper is a table-top DAB/FM RDS radio and iPod dock.
Price bracket £115 - £150
The £150 unit uses a wooden cabinet, inside which the speakers sit in independent chambers with bass-reflex loading, and the iPod dock comes complete with a range of adapters.
The blue LCD display has a three-stage dimmer and an off setting, presets are provided to store favourite stations, and there are dual alarms, a sleep timer and equaliser settings for rock, pop, classical, jazz and bass boost.
A headphone jack and remote control complete the package, and the SR-2DAB is in the shops now.
