Information

The new SOUND 53 from ROBERTS is a superior DAB/CD/FM/Digital sound system with universal dock for iPod.

Price bracket £230 - £275

The big brother of the SOUND 43, the SOUND 53 allows users to play their iPod music collections through its powerful stereo speakers as well as listen to their favourite CDs, or radio stations via the DAB and FM wavebands. The multi-format CD player allows the playing of audio CDs and recorded CDs with MP3 or WMA files. Furthermore, a USB stick or an SD card can be used to record programmes or songs from the radio or CD, or to playback MP3 or WMA files transferred from a PC.

The two multi-mode alarms allow the user to choose whether they wake up to a buzzer, the radio, or to music from an iPod, CD, SD card or USB stick. Each can be set to operate once, daily, at weekdays or weekends. The SOUND 53 also comes complete with 20 radio station presets and a multi function remote control.

Additional features include an ice blue display backlight, 6 position equaliser with separate bass and treble adjustment, line output socket, headphone socket and auxiliary input for iPod/MP3 playback.
