Speakers announced for the Drive 2 Digital Conference
Digital Radio UK, in association with the SMMT and BBC, is delighted to announce that Top Gear's James May will join a stellar line-up of speakers at the Drive 2 Digital conference 2012 on 5 November.
James May will be joined onstage by Absolute Radio's Christian O'Connell and we are also delighted to announce that BBC Radio 2 presenter Jo Whiley will be speaking, as top UK broadcasting names join the drive to digital. The agenda features a "Digital Question Time" video interview between Broadcast Minister Ed Vaizey and BBC reporter and conference chair Nick Higham.
Over 300 delegates from across the automotive and broadcast industries attend the conference at BBC Broadcasting House on 5 November. As we countdown towards a Government switchover announcement, the speakers will be focusing on how we accelerate growth and adoption of digital radios in cars. The Keynote speakers, following the interview with the Minister, are Tim Davie, Director of Audio & Music at the BBC and Anthony Ireson, Marketing Director at Ford of Britain. Other speakers will be announced soon.
