BBC launch more digital radio transmitters

The BBC has announced the launch of two more national DAB transmitters:


Providing coverage to  Newry in Northern Ireland and the surrounding area adding around 60,000 people to the coverage of the network.

Providing coverage to Callander and Dunblane, as well as reinforcing coverage in Stirling and the surrounding area adding 11,500 people to the network and improves coverage for almost 200,000 more.

 A further three more transmitters are expected to launch later this week.
