talkSPORT and Roberts Radio launch Rugby World Cup giveaway
talkSPORT has teamed up with UK brand leader Roberts Radio to give rugby fans the opportunity to win one of a number of limited edition talkSPORT Roberts SportsDAB II portable radios. The SportsDAB II’s compact design ensures the lucky winners will not need to miss a minute of talkSPORT’s exclusive coverage of the Rugby World Cup, even when they’re on the go.
From Tuesday 30th August, one radio will be given away online at talkSPORT.co.uk every 80 minutes from 8am until 8pm every day until the World Cup kicks off in New Zealand on Friday 9th September.
Anyone who misses out on the prize draw will be able to buy their talkSPORT Roberts SportsDAB II radio from Comet and other independent retailers. talkSPORT will also be running on-air advertisements for the talkSPORT Roberts SportsDAB II radio during the tournament. The radio is handheld and has a speaker, a headphone socket and a rechargeable battery, making it ideal for sports fans listening on the move.
talkSPORT has the exclusive UK radio commentary rights to the Rugby World Cup 2011, and will be broadcasting every match live. Ex-England hooker and broadcaster Brian Moore, Wallaby legend David Campese and Lions legend John Taylor will be joining the talkSPORT team out in New Zealand to provide explosive commentary, analysis and punditry.
