TalkSPORT to broadcast across the USA
TalkSPORT has agreed a new partnership with Sirius XM Radio, which will see flagship TalkSPORT programmes broadcast live to 21 million satellite radio subscribers across America.
Under the terms of the deal, SiriusXM’s existing weekend coverage of the Premier League will be boosted with the addition of the Weekend Sports Breakfast, which sees Mark Saggers and Micky Quinn preview all the action on both days, with exclusive interviews with the big names of sport.
Once the live football is concluded, SiriusXM subscribers will join UK fans for Call Collymore, talkSPORT’s no-holds-barred football phone-in hosted by former striker Stan Collymore, . This will be followed by Football First with Ian Danter, Alvin Martin and ex-Ireland player Ray Houghton with the final word on the opening day’s action.
On Sunday afternoons SiriusXM will relay TalkSPORT’s brand new show “The Press Pass” hosted by sports writer Des Kelly followed by rugby show Full Contact.
TalkSPORT’s two flagship shows, The Sports Breakfast presented by Alan Brazil and Ronnie Irani, as well as Drive Time with Darren Gough and TalkSPORT’s voice of football Adrian Durham will also be broadcast during the week.
The shows will be broadcast live, and will be followed by repeats.
Piers Collins, Business Development Strategist for TalkSPORT, said: “I’m delighted to be working with SiriusXM to bring TalkSPORT to the US as the appetite for quality speech radio across the globe grows, and I look forward to hearing fans dialing in from the US.”
