Smooth Radio goes national

Smooth Radio UK officially launched as a new national service on October 4th and can now be heard across the UK on DAB digital radio.

Smooth Radio currently attracts more than 2.5 million listeners each week to tune into its six regional radio services across Britain which broadcast on FM and DAB digital radio. The launch of the national station will challenge BBC Radio 2's dominance as a national music channel.

The national version of Smooth Radio is now available to over 90% of the UK population via DAB digital radio. Regional versions of Smooth are also still available on digital radio in Central Scotland, the North East, the North West, Nottingham, and the West Midlands.
