Station Updates

As a digital radio listener you'll know that stations and station names change so you'll need to rescan your digital radio regularly to see the latest stations available.

  • Smooth Radio 70s is now available on DAB
  • Black Cat Radio is now available on DAB from St Neots to Huntingdon - and everywhere in between
  • Absolute Radio 70s is now available on DAB in London
  • Absolute Radio 60s is now available on DAB in a number of locations across the UK
  • Voice of Russia is now available on DAB in London.
  • Swansea station 102.1 Bay Radio has gone live on the regional digital radio multiplex covering South Wales and the Severn Estuary.
  • Jazz FM is no longer available on the regional multiplexes North West and West Midlands. However it is available on national DAB digital radio.
  • BBC Radio has launched three new national DAB digital radio transmitters in Greenhill, Pitlochry and Pontypool.
  • Internet radio station Mountain FM has now launched on DAB in South Wales.
  • Ofcom has granted a twelve-year renewal of the local FM commercial radio licence for Barnstaple in North Devon held by Lantern Radio Limited.
  • Ofcom has approved a request from Now Digital Ltd to extend the coverage area of the local radio multiplex licence for Exeter & Torbay so that it also includes North Devon.
  • Kiss is now available on DAB digital radio in Nottingham, Leicester and South Hampshire. Xfm has stopped broadcasting on DAB in South Hampshire.
  • NME Radio is now available on DAB digital radio in Exeter, Bristol, Southend, Peterborough, Norwich and Cambridge.
  • Passion for the Planet has stopped broadcasting on DAB digital radio.
  • Affinity Radio Cambridge has launched on DAB digital radio in Cambridge.
  • BBC Radio 7 has now been renamed BBC Radio 4 Extra.
  • Jazz FM is now available on national DAB digital radio.
  • Panjab Radio is now available on DAB digital radio in the North East of England.
  • The Breeze is now available on DAB digital radio in the Bristol & Bath area.
  • Asian FX has ceased broadcasting in the West Midlands area.
